Emily Kuhn is a business systems and process designer, experienced in building and improving nonprofit operations. She is passionate about supporting international development and social justice though nonprofits, and is currently a Senior Business Analyst at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Kari recently retired after working for over 15 years in the international nonprofit sector, engaging with Hope for Life from its inception on an administrative level. She is excited about becoming more intimately involved in sharing hope and learning from this wonderful ministry.
Jane Gunningham has lived and worked cross-culturally since childhood, is bilingual French-English, and is experienced in sustainability, post-crisis recovery, community development and livelihoods on the African Continent. She enjoys the hope and challenge of working with communities to advance justice and equity in ways that are culturally relevant.
Nathan brings a wealth of knowledge and connections to Hope for Life having over a decade of experience living in and operating businesses in Rwanda.
Chelsey joins Hope For Life with over ten years serving non-profit organizations, bringing a wealth of knowledge about operations, cross cultural ministry, leadership and international development. Her most recent work was accomplished at World Concern. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in nursing to serve those in need with a new clinical skill set.
Corey joins Hope For Life with over 14 years of experience in marketing and fundraising, bringing a wealth of knowledge in visual story-telling that helps non-profits connect their donors to the stories of individuals. Currently he is the Director of Design at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Robin recently completed a Master of Arts in International Community Development. She has over 12 years experience in Human Resources plus a wealth of knowledge and passion for servant leadership development.
Christophe is a nationally recognized leader in Rwanda in the field of reconciliation and social justice. He serves as the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Christian Action for Reconciliation and Social Assistance (www.carsaministry.org).
Megan serves Hope for Life as US Executive Director overseeing fundraising, advocacy and operations in the US. She has worked for HFL in a variety of capacities over the last decade since helping found the organization as a college student. She holds a BA in Psychology and Global & Urban Ministry from Seattle Pacific University and is passionate about international development, children and youth, and social and racial equity.
Ally serves in Seattle as our Development Director plays a crucial role in the management of internal operations and systems, the day-to-day operations necessary to ensure the organization achieves its objectives, and in the execution of the organization’s fundraising plans. She holds a Masters in Social Work and is passionate about grassroots organizing, international development, and youth.
Chantal has been working at HFL since its inception in 2009. She is deeply passionate about caring for vulnerable children in her community and has been a key player in developing Hope for Life. She currently overseas all operations in Rwanda.
Hilliary spent two years living in Rwanda developing and growing the organization. Today, she works in financial advising at Ronald Blue & Co. Hillliary holds a BA in Elementary Education and Bible from Moody Bible Institute.

Emily works as a Washington State Auditor and is passionate about social justice, fighting homelessness, and nonprofit finance. In addition to being a CPA, Emily holds a BA in International Development, an MA in Public Administration, and certificates in Accounting and Nonprofit Management. We are grateful for her and the expertise she brings to the organization.
